Dead or Alive: Nothing to Lose

The Magnificent Dead takes place in the 1870’s in the small Texas town of Rosewood where local rancher Jared Hamilton and his men have declared war on the town, using fear and death to prevent a new railroad line from coming through. Guided by a priest, Father Julian the desperate town leaders decide to hire a group of six gunmen to help clean up the town. These gunmen are legendary, as they are afflicted with leprosy and fight with reckless abandon and ruthlessness, for they have nothing to lose.

Best Movies to Marathon

A movie marathon is a sure sign of devotion and dedication to the art of film making and movie watching. If you are looking for ways to show your love for film, plot, characters and lengthy experience, these movie installments are right for you.

Here are the best movies to marathon you have to do at least once:

5. The Dark Knight Trilogy – Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises

The theme of fear and chaos run through the trilogy. With everything linked together, Christopher Nolan paid close attention to the previous films when crafting a new entry.

4. The Lord of the Rings - The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King

You could also throw in The Hobbit and have a full on Middle Earth gorge with these movies.

3. The Star Wars Saga - Star Wars… Episode IV: A New Hope, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

Going through all the Star Wars movies has been a favorite past time for fans since the original trilogy. Although there are remakes of the movies with improved CGI effects, you will have to wait for the complete installation.

2. Star Trek - Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock, The Voyage Home, The Final Frontier, The Undiscovered Country, Generations, First Contact, Insurrection, Nemesis, Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness

What stands out in the series is the flow from the first six details, to the next generation and the reboot.

1. James Bond - Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Diamonds are Forever, Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, License To Kill, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace, Skyfall

Best Valentine’s Idea: Watch Free Movies Online

Admit it. Right now, you’re thinking, “How in the world can it be the best Valentine’s Day idea to watch free movies online?” It might seem bizarre for an activity so simple to fit the bill of being a “romantic and special” date, but think about it for a minute and you just might change your mind!
In the comfort of your home, you can spend more private moments with your partner and avoid the crowds (and the prying eyes, noise, and possible troubles). Turn your living room into a cosy theatre. Set the mood with candles or dim lighting, flowers, and a dinner you whipped up yourself. The efforts will be more romantic than common dates.
Now, if you don’t have a date for Valentine’s, that’s the perfect opportunity to have some precious “me time” (finally)! Who needs company, anyway? A free movie streaming site could even be your best date ever because:

Watch Free Movies Online: Creepy Found Footages

When the movie you’re watching claims that it “contains actual footage”, you’ll know that you’re watching a found footage film, a horror sub-genre which began with 1999’s The Blair Witch Project. Nothing could be more chilling than watching a movie seemingly compiled from real-life footage of supernatural forces at work to scare and terrify the living. These movies could be set anywhere, even inside a house, which is the plot of 2009’s Paranormal Entity.

Why Your Family Should Watch Free Movies Online

If you’ve got quality time to spend with your family one weekend night, why not prepare the couch, bring out your comfiest pillows and blankets, and have a movie date with them? Movie nights at home are undoubtedly cheaper and more convenient than driving all the way to the nearest theater just to catch the next scheduled screening of the latest blockbuster, yet it’s not necessarily costless. Yes, Netflix and the like might offer you a wide array of family movies to choose from, but you will still have to pay for what you want to see. That in mind, it’ll be a better idea to watch free movies online from streaming websites like The Viewlorium.

Worst Movie Sequels Since 2000

In the movie industry, capturing the magic twice is a tall order. Some movies fail in making sequels for a better—or, at least, different--follow-up. After all, if you’re not changing the game during the second time around, you’re only making things worse for a movie franchise.

Here are the 5 worst movie sequels since 2000:

5. Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014) Questioned to why extreme-shark-weather movie was ever made, the sequel disappointed many people just as the first Sharknado.

4. Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004) The cozy, down-to-earth feel of Bridget Jones’ Diary was nowhere to be seen in this sequel. Lacking a plot and without a sympathetic lead, the film is at once desperately try-hard while barely seeming to try at all.

3. Ocean’s Twelve (2004) Although packed with big names, what could have been another sharp, exciting ride for another heist was turned out for awful jokes and smugness of the characters.

2. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) Transformers was relatively harmless for a Michael Bay film, but the 2009 sequel was a mess. The tone veers wildly from gun battles to bad jokes, with strong language and unnecessary drug references for a film that is based on a children’s toy line.

1. Son of the Mask (2005) Creating The Mask without the star power of Jim Carrey is the main reason why the sequel shouldn’t have been made. Even better CGI effects and Bob Hoskin appearing as Odin couldn’t save it. Tell us what you think of these terrible sequels! Watch Free Movies Online on the Spitfire

Australia was never invaded during World War II, but it doesn't mean it was never attacked. In those tumultuous years, it committed troops and hardware to the fight against the Axis Forces. The stubborn defence of Bataan in 1942 drew more Japanese troops into the Philippines, deflecting further Japanese invasions across the Pacific, and sparing Australia in the process.

Top 5 Best Sequels Since 2000

Finding a good sequel to a movie is rare compared to finding a good movie remake. Making sequels is attractive to creators and producers because there is less risk in returning to a story with known popularity than developing new characters and untested plot. In many cases, the sequel continues elements of the original story, often with the same characters and settings.

Here are the top 5 movie sequels that we enjoyed since 2000:

5. Kill Bill: Volume 2 (2004) Kill Bill delivers the goods for those expecting a satisfying conclusion to this sequel with an improved plot.

4. The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) The Bourne Ultimatum is an intelligent, finely tuned non-stop thrill ride. Another strong performance from Matt Damon makes this the finest installment of the Bourne trilogy.

3. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) In the 6th installment of the Harry Potter series, the young wizards of Hogwarts face more danger as they mature. Dark, thrilling, and occasionally funny, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is also visually stunning and emotionally satisfying.

2. Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) The Two Towers balances spectacular action with emotional storytelling, leaving audiences both wholly satisfied and eager for the final chapter.

1. The Dark Knight (2008) Dark, complex and unforgettable, The Dark Knight succeeds not just as an entertaining comic book film, but as a richly thrilling crime saga.

Watch Free Movies Online for a Great Rom-Com

Done with your marathon of horror movies that involved such cult classics like The Boneyard and Snake Island? Why not treat yourself to a comedy for a change? One funny film that might tickle your interest is Flash!, a film about eight people who go on a catalogue modeling journey that takes them from sophisticated Los Angeles to the rural areas of California.

Attack of the Megalodon

Sharks have moved around the earth for 400 million years. Their power, size, and strong, toothy jaws fill us with both fear and fascination. Even though they kill only a few people each year, movie portrayals and media coverage of attacks have created an impression that they are voracious killing machines. Like any wild animal, Sharks are only forced to attack when they feel threatened.

It was a fine day when a prehistoric shark has been awakened by an oil company while exploring. The creature marooned a group of thieves and young female college students on an abandoned land, in the middle of a lake. Unable to escape the beast, the two groups tried to help one another and fight off the ferocious monster. As they fight for their lives, they are killed one by one, until only two of the girls are left.

Watch the movie to discover how the girls defend their lives against the Jurassic shark. Take a break from stress, treat yourself something good. Watch free movies online at Viewlorium.

On Thin Ice: What Will Happen to the Polar Bears?

The ice is melting in the Arctic and polar bears are in trouble. Greg Granger’s “On Thin Ice” is a call to action documentary that shows how troubling the situation is in the North Pole. Released in 2008, the narrative focuses on the unprecedented shrinking of the frozen expanses of the Arctic and the efforts of scientists to save the polar bear species. The rapidly changing environment caused by the excessive burning of fossil fuels and other human-generated pollution leads to a long list of troubles for the species, which is well documented in this film.

Eye-Opening Truths

Follow the series of expeditions Greg Grainger goes through in the Arctic to see the truth of the polar bear’s plight. In this documentary you will witness heartbreaking footage like these:

• An infant polar bear crying for help when its mother is tranquilized by researcher Nick Lunn, for the sake of saving the species.

 • Due to the lack of food sources, it is presumed that the remains of a bear found died from starvation.

• Close encounters with starving polar bears that break into a building in the search for food.

• Observe how bears feed in their natural habitat by hunting seals and devouring whale carcasses.

• Hungry bears and huskies fight over food as they struggle to survive.

Motivation for a Greener Future

The cries of a young polar bear cub is enough to inspire anyone to start doing their part for the planet. It is not their suffering that makes this documentary worth watching. It is the resilience of this species to the changes around them that is truly inspiring. Spark the passion for saving the planet and the bears; watch free movies online like this gripping tale.

The Twisted and Modern Tale of Hansel and Gretel

The Asylum has again produced and released another spin to a fairy tale classic. The story of siblings Hansel and Gretel takes a modern turn, but it is no less dark and twisted in every way. The film stars Dee Wallace as a sickeningly sweet bakery owner who harbors deep dark secrets and dabbles in supernatural learning. Gretel, played by Stephanie Greco, is the one and only star employee in the bakeshop and her brother Hansel, played by Brent Lydric, are in for a world of horror and trauma. Not only does Hansel struggle with the loss of their mother and dealing with their father’s marriage to a much younger woman, they both find out that there’s more to the bakeshop’s menu and the owner is very hungry.

Creepy Contrast

The best part of this movie is definitely Dee Wallace’s performance. Cast as the evil villain instead of her typical motherly roles, they turn the tables around which makes the twist of her being a cannibalistic witch even more frightening. Her portrayal of the role is so brilliant that her sickeningly sweet attitude in the beginning will draw you in just to watch the total reversal of attitude.

You Won’t Be Disappointed

The lure of this already dark tale is how Hansel and Gretel are fooled by The Witch with the promise of treats and a better life, only to be cooked into supper instead. We all know how this eventually ends and this version of the classic tale does not fail to give you the ending you want. If you’re ready to give this film a chance, you can watch free movies online. Or if you’re looking for something that isn’t as hair raising as a sweet lady going cannibalistic, there are a number of other choices when watch movies online for free.

The Dead have Come A-Knocking

Perhaps the best thing about being a zombie horror movie fan is that you will never run out of movies to watch. As long as you are looking for the blood, gore, and screams to fill your nights, the movies will keep coming. One of the best examples of the many creative entries in the zombie movie genre is “The Dead Next Door”. Originally released back in 1989 when the initial zombie craze started, the movie has resurfaced recently because no one can pass up the jam-packed excitement, the blood, and the screams that come with the story.

The Zombie Squad

When a large part of society succumbs to a virus that bring the dead back to life, what can humans do to fight back? In Bookwalter’s “The Dead Next Door”, a small group of commandos decide to band together and form The Zombie Squad. The squad sets up a base in Washington, DC; is led by Raimi (Pete Ferry), are on a mission to look for the cure. The first plan of action the commandos come up with is to head towards Akron, Ohio, where they believe the virus first started. Being low on manpower while going against the hordes of zombies is only the start of their problems. They also have to go against an overzealous cult, led by Rev. Jones (Robert Kokai), who believe in protecting the living dead.

Let the Zombies In

Will the Zombie Squad be able to find the cure for the virus? Will they be able to answer their tag line: “How do you kill something that won’t die? Where do you run when they’re everywhere”? If you’re a fan of the genre, you have to watch this movie. It may have been released decades ago, but you can find a copy on streaming websites where you can watch movies online for free. Maybe when you’re done watching this gory apocalyptic tale, you will get hooked and watch free movies online all day!

Toxie Cleans Up the Town

“The Toxic Avenger” is set in Tromaville, New Jersey, the so-called toxic waste dumping ground for America with a scrawny, 90-pound janitor, Melvin Furd (Mark Torgl). Just like in any underdog story, Melvin is constantly bullied by Bozo (Gray Schneider) and his band of misfits. Due to his weight disadvantage and shy nature, Melvin is unable to fight back, making him the perfect target for all of Bozo’s pranks. When one of these pranks goes horribly wrong, leading to Melvin’s fall out of a window into a drum of toxic waste, our zero nerd becomes the hero, “Toxie” (Mitchell Cohen). In true heroic fashion,  Toxie makes it his mission to clean the town of Tromaville from thugs and villains, while rescuing the blind damsel in distress, Sara (Andree Maranda).

Crime Fighting, Justice, and Love

From action to drama, this 1980’s film has it all. After Toxie rescues Sara from a robbery in a Mexican restaurant, the two fall in love, but Toxie’s mission to rid the town of crime had only begun. To avenge himself from his past tormentors, Toxie punishes Bozo and his gang while going after the criminals in his town. Although the people of Tromaville see him as a hero, the corrupt mayor, Peter Belgoody (Pat Ryan Jr.) and the police chief (David Weiss) fear that their crime empire is now under threat. To rid the town of Toxie and his crime-fighting crusade, they call the National Guard for assistance.

Toxicly Fun

A cult classic for sure, “The Toxic Avenger” was a hit back in the 1980’s when it was first released and it was a hit again when it was shown at this year’s Slash Filmfestival. If you missed your chance to catch it during the limited screening of this vintage Troma film is available to watch with free movies online on streaming websites. One Body, Two Heads, and More Terror than You Can Imagine

The thought of a shark attack is already terrifying; adding another head to a gigantic monster, and doubling the amount of teeth brings this movie to a whole new level of terror. The first bite into this Asylum produced horror flick takes place when “The Sea King”, a research vessel with a group of college students, their professor, and his wife gets damaged by the corpse of a dead shark. They are left no choice but to seek refuge on a nearby abandoned island while the crew on board the ship tries to get their vessel up and running again.

Double Trouble

The fun-loving group is in for the surprise of their lives when their impromptu vacation turns into a total disaster, because their problems have only just started. Not only are they about to face the horrors of a bloodthirsty two-headed shark, but they also have to get off of the island before it sinks into the open sea. The sinking of the island exposes them to more danger as the mutant two-headed shark starts to take out the group one by one, making it a priority for them to evacuate. Will any one of them make it out of the island alive or are they all doomed to be shark food?

Bloodthirsty for More?

To find out if the group (starring Carmen Electra and Brooke Hogan) can outwit the monstrous shark and get off of the island in time for yourself, you can watch free movies online! If this sharktastic film isn’t to your taste or fails to satisfy your longing for horror, you have a long list of free online movies that you can choose from!

Watch Free Movies Online: Beat the Horror Hangover

Sometimes, we just want to watch something that scares us silly, especially when we’re watching with friends. Unfortunately, there may be times when we bite off more than we can chew. In such cases, here are a few tips to help rid you of your horror movie hangover when you watch free movies online:

Laughter is the Best Medicine

First of all, you have to keep your mind off of the horror elements of the film you just watched. What better way to do that than watch a comedy movie that has a direct line to your funny bone? After an hour or two of laughing, you’ll forget why you were ever scared in the first place.

Watch with Friends

What are the chances that all of you end up scared silly, right? Having other people with you after the film can give you a sense of security. At the same time, you can inject humour into certain situations (“you know there’s a killer loose, yet you set foot into a pitch black hallway?”) to help break your suspension of disbelief.

Do your Research

Horror filmmakers invest heavily in making things look as real as possible, which is probably why your heart is trying to pound its way out of your chest. The best way to counter this would be to look for “behind the scenes” pictures.
